So this song is in some ways my most favorite song, and in others a song I hate!
I like it because it's so catchy and a golden pop gem and pretty much my only "happy" song.
I hate it because it has no real meaning to my life. I basically wanted to write a happy song so I made some characters and whatnot. When I write other happy songs I use the same "couple"
Also, a little bit of shinfo, for some reason I have a hard time remembering the written down first verse, even on the day I recorded! I just improvised and decided that this was better anyway.
lyrics
we never thought that we could be, the ones who stared into the night, laying right here side by side, and then we think we got it made, we could immortalize the moment, and we could turn back time
do you know, what I know, yeah I can tell you it's from these lies, can you believe what I said, calling back the fame
do you see, what I see, 'cause tonight I'll finally kiss you, do you see, those planets, 'cause from here they look like stars
