about

This song is basically written in response to some hipsters who wouldn't let me play at some coffee house because it was a "mellow" thing. I was pissed because here I am singing about real things that affect me and they just wanted some Jack Johnson type weed music.

And no it has NOTHING to do with Billy Mays, and yes I know I spelled his name wrong, and no I don't care, and yes it sounds like I stole an Against Me! type riff, and yes I admit it (in the lyrics too!)

lyrics

how long do you think it's ganna last, how long will your parents pay for it, and yeah I may be writing cliches well at least I don't need to be high to enjoy it

and yeah I might have stole this song well you see at least I'll admit it

I know what, I'll digress all the secrets I hold on my own
I don't know

And I'll try to grow a beard so you'll see you might just respect me
