I had this little chord progression written for a while. And then I saw Fargo, and the next day had a show. I decided to name the show after a pivotal scene in the movie (sorry for spoilers but it's like 15 years old now, I should also tell you that Darth Vader is Luke's father, Soylent Green is people and that the Cake is a Lie)
I also never wrote down words for the song, and the best lyrics I came up with, I think, were for this recording. I still use primarily these words but add more live when I "get into it" and put myself as some of the characters. It's acting and music COMBINED!
lyrics
yeah I need the money, I will kill for it, it's not much, but it will get what I need, to payback the loan I owe
Yeah I love my wife, I don't want her dead, and I'll trust them, not to hurt you
let it go, don't let it go
I never said, you needed this to survive, you go down, don't take me under, don't me down
